Kia ora koutou! At the Peninsula Toy Library we believe that “play is the way” for your baby’s or child’s developmental needs.

You can rent a wide range of toys for children aged 0-7 years from the Library for a nominal charge. Toys include ride-ons, outdoors equipment, dress-ups, puzzles, construction sets, trucks, train tracks, dolls and more.

The Toy Library is open on every Sunday from 10am–12pm during our summer hours (term 1 and 4) and 11am-12pm for our winter hours (term 2 and 3). We are closed during school and public holidays.

As we are a not-for-profit organization there is an annual subscription ($25). Toy rental is generally $1-2 for a two-week period. There is also Grandparent membership and casual membership options for families staying in the area for the short-term.
